Studies focused in advanced graphic/web design topics such as image editing, branding, marketing, photography, motion based graphics, video editing, sound editing, animation, content management systems, and web development. Participated in larger scale group design campaigns. Worked on a variety of multimedia based projects. Studied drawing both objects and people with a variety of different media. Studied computer programming using visual basic to build applications for PC’s and smart phones, and C++ to write consol based programs. Had hands on training building, troubleshooting, replacing components, configuring, and repairing PC and laptop hardware and operating systems. Set up and implemented small home and small office networks, and set up security using a Linksys router.

Studied the basics of graphic/web design and how to implement the design process to create quality, professional designs. Worked on multimedia based projects such animations, video editing, sound editing, photography, and flash based interactive content such as portfolios, websites, and games. Worked on print based projects such as posters, business cards, letter heads, tri-fold brochures, etc.. Created a flash based video game.

Freelance Web Developer/Programmer October 2011 – Present
Biser Lawncare and More, Cresaptown, Maryland
Working with the company owner to plan, build, and maintain a website, using a combination of HTML, CSS, Adobe Dreamweaver, and a bit of php for company advertisement. Took photos of specified job sites for viewing. Created a mulch calculator application for use on his home PC and for his smart phone using Visual Basic.
Web Developer, Intern August 2010 – February 2011

Mainly worked on a new flash based interactive website. Started out using a combination of HTML and Adobe Dreamweaver until it was decided we wanted it to be more interactive. Also worked on the road as a Field Production Assistant taking pictures, working with lighting and helped set up the tripod and other things for different shots. Later on I built a website for Methane Busters through Comvest; another company in the same building.

Assist management and other staff members with various duties. Entered dot-6 and 7 forms into the state computer system, filed equipment work orders, e-mail down time to proper personnel on preventative maintenance forms, managed state invoices, transported various parts and vehicles to District 4 head quarters, when equipment supervisor assistant was not present I took care of payroll, and created signage using a vinyl plotter for various equipment.
Gas Attendant/Radio Operator May 2012 – January 2013

Unlock all gates, buildings, and pumps every morning. Keep record of all the incoming and outgoing gasoline, diesel fuel, automotive oil, and windshield washer fluid. Fill out various forms and file them properly. Make sure fuel information and billing makes it to the correct destinations. As the radio operator I take calls from six county stations including interstate stations, county sub-stations, 911, Charleston Traffic Maintenance Control, and general community complaints. Document all phone and radio interactions and dispatch proper personnel. Transfer calls throughout district 4 headquarters. Perform light upkeep as needed.

Worked the summers in the state road garage cleaning vehicles, cleaning floors, filing paperwork, and painting. I also sometimes worked as a mechanic doing preventative maintenance, and went on road calls for broken down equipment.
